Membership terms, in plain language

  • Personal and non-transferable. Benefits belong to the member (and named family members on Family plans). The member must be present.
  • Included sessions reset, they don't roll over. Daily, weekly and monthly sessions renew on their own schedule. Unused sessions are not carried forward or combined.
  • Time windows apply. Off-peak sessions run Monday to Thursday, 11 AM to 4 PM. Evening sessions run 5 PM to 10 PM. Longer bookings get the plan discount instead of an included session.
  • Renewal. Automatic renewal charges your saved card each term. Cancel before your next payment date to stop future charges. Your paid term stays valid until it ends.
  • One benefit per booking. Included sessions and discounts don't stack. You always see your price before you pay, and can choose not to use a benefit.

Terms and Conditions

Terms for reservations, memberships, events, payments and safe use of TDW SmashZone’s facilities, including the VIP glass ping pong table.

TDW SmashZone Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: October 7, 2026

1. Agreement and Scope

These Terms and Conditions govern reservations, purchases, memberships, events and related services provided by TDW SmashZone (“TDW,” “we,” “us” or “our”).

By affirmatively accepting these terms during checkout, registration or booking, you agree to comply with them and any additional conditions disclosed for your purchase.

The person completing a transaction must be at least 18 years old and authorized to make the purchase. Anyone booking for a company or organization represents that they have authority to bind that organization.

A separately accepted event or membership agreement takes precedence over these general terms where a specific provision conflicts.

2. Reservations and Scheduled Time

A reservation is confirmed only after TDW issues confirmation and receives any required payment. An inquiry, quotation or requested date does not independently secure a reservation.

Customers must check their confirmation and promptly notify TDW of errors.

Reservations include only the tables, rooms, activities, duration and services expressly confirmed. Additional time, guests, equipment or services require approval and may incur charges.

Reserved time begins and ends at the confirmed times. Late arrival does not extend the booking. Guests must release the table or room when the session ends unless an extension is approved.

TDW may assign an equivalent standard table where a particular table has not been expressly guaranteed. Material changes to a purchased experience will be discussed with the customer.

Guests must comply with the capacity limits applicable to their booking and the venue.

3. Payments and Outstanding Balances

Customers are responsible for the purchase price, disclosed taxes and charges, and additional services they authorize.

Deposits, payment deadlines and any security deposits must be stated before acceptance. Failure to pay an agreed balance by its deadline may result in suspension or cancellation under the accepted booking conditions.

Payments are handled through our POS system and payment-processing services. Customers must use an authorized payment method.

TDW may decline suspected fraudulent transactions. Material pricing errors will be addressed by offering the corrected arrangement or cancelling and refunding the affected purchase. TDW will not increase an agreed charge without authorization.

Customers are encouraged to contact TDW about billing concerns. Nothing in these terms restricts lawful payment-dispute rights.

4. Cancellations, Rescheduling and No-Shows

The cancellation, rescheduling, deposit and no-show conditions disclosed and accepted before payment govern the purchase.

Any amount designated as nonrefundable, and the circumstances in which it may be retained, must be identified before payment.

Cancellation requests must be submitted through the booking system or to Service@tdwsmashzone.com. Please retain evidence of submission. Applicable deadlines are measured by receipt of the request, not by the time staff respond.

Rescheduling is subject to availability. A requested change is confirmed only when TDW acknowledges the revised arrangement.

If TDW cancels a purchased service and cannot provide it, the customer may accept an offered alternative or receive a refund for the unprovided service.

Applicable legal rights remain unaffected.

5. Membership Eligibility and Benefits

Memberships are personal, nontransferable and limited to registered members. Members may be asked to verify their identity.

A registered member must be present when benefits are used. Household memberships cover registered household members only.

Member Open Play is shared play during the hours stated in the purchased plan. It does not guarantee a private table and may require rotation.

Included private-table sessions are governed by the frequency, duration, booking window and eligible hours disclosed at enrollment. Family benefits provide one shared standard table per included household session unless expressly stated otherwise.

Members may not create duplicate accounts, transfer reservations, resell benefits or otherwise circumvent plan limits.

VIP play, pool, arcade activities, events and other services are excluded unless expressly included in the purchased plan.

6. Membership Billing, Cancellation and Changes

Any recurring billing, automatic renewal, minimum commitment and cancellation procedure must be disclosed and expressly accepted before enrollment.

Cancellation takes effect according to the accepted plan conditions. TDW will provide confirmation of a cancellation request.

Price or material benefit changes will be communicated before they apply to a future renewal. Benefits already purchased for a paid period will not be reduced without an agreed remedy.

TDW may suspend or terminate membership for documented fraud, serious misconduct or material misuse of benefits. Any retained fees or charges remain subject to the accepted conditions and applicable law.

7. Events, Parties and Corporate Bookings

The accepted event agreement or confirmed package determines room use, table allocation, staffing, catering, presentation equipment, setup time and other inclusions.

Organizers must provide accurate guest counts and communicate requested arrangements in advance. Additional guests or changes require approval and may affect pricing.

External vendors, outside food, decorations, amplified sound, deliveries and equipment installations require prior written approval. Outside alcohol is prohibited.

Guests may not obstruct exits, interfere with safety systems, attach items to surfaces or move equipment without permission.

The organizer must communicate venue rules to attendees. Any contractual responsibility for attendee damage, extraordinary cleaning or additional services must be stated in the accepted event agreement.

8. Conduct, Admission and Supervision

Guests must follow lawful staff instructions, posted safety rules and occupancy restrictions.

Harassment, threats, violence, illegal activity, deliberate damage and unsafe equipment use are prohibited.

TDW may refuse an activity, stop play or remove a guest when reasonably necessary for safety, lawful operation or a serious breach of these rules. Removal for serious misconduct may result in forfeiture of the affected session, to the extent permitted by law.

Parents or guardians must supervise minors in their care. TDW staff do not provide childcare.

Guests must promptly report injuries, hazards, spills and damaged equipment.

9. VIP Glass Table Precautions and Room Supervision

The VIP glass ping pong table is designed for standard table tennis play. Because TDW welcomes casual and first-time players, all guests must exercise care, follow staff instructions and use the table only for its intended purpose.

Guests must not:

• Sit, stand, climb or lean on the table.
• Place drinks, food, bags or other objects on the playing surface.
• Strike the glass with paddles or other objects, except for ordinary contact with the ball during play.
• Move, lift, adjust or attempt to repair the table or its components.
• Engage in horseplay, reckless play or conduct that could endanger others or damage the equipment.

CHILDREN UNDER AGE 16 MAY ENTER OR REMAIN IN THE VIP ROOM ONLY WHILE ACCOMPANIED AND ACTIVELY SUPERVISED BY THEIR PARENT OR GUARDIAN. THE SUPERVISING ADULT MUST REMAIN IN THE ROOM AND ENSURE THAT THE CHILD FOLLOWS ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.

Unsafe conduct, negligent misuse and deliberate disregard of these precautions will not be tolerated. TDW may immediately stop play or require a guest to leave the VIP room. Serious or repeated violations may result in removal from the venue and forfeiture of the affected session, to the extent permitted by law.

Guests must immediately report any damage, suspected defect, injury or unsafe condition and stop using the table until staff authorize further play.

To the extent permitted by law, guests are responsible for reasonable, documented repair or replacement costs and other legally recoverable losses caused by their negligence, reckless conduct, intentional acts or misuse. Normal wear and tear is excluded. Responsibility for a minor’s conduct will be determined under applicable law and any separately accepted agreement.

TDW will not obtain duplicate recovery or impose undisclosed penalties. These terms alone do not authorize automatic damage charges to a stored payment method.

An accident alone does not establish negligence. This provision does not release TDW from its own negligence or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any participant liability release is addressed in a separate agreement.

10. Participation and Separate Waivers

Activities involve risks such as falls, collisions, muscle strain and contact with equipment. Guests must participate within their abilities and stop when conditions are unsafe.

TDW may require a separately accepted participant agreement before play. Each adult participant must complete any required agreement personally. An event organizer’s acceptance does not automatically release other participants’ claims.

These general terms are not a blanket release of injury claims. Any release of liability is governed by the separate agreement and applicable law.

11. Food and Alcohol

Please disclose food allergies before ordering. Shared preparation areas create a risk of cross-contact; an allergen-free environment cannot be guaranteed.

Alcohol service is limited to eligible guests age 21 or older with acceptable identification. TDW may refuse or discontinue service based on legal requirements or responsible-service practices.

Guests may not provide alcohol to minors or consume unauthorized outside alcohol.

12. Personal Property

Guests are responsible for keeping their belongings secure. Report lost property promptly.

TDW is not an insurer of guest property. Responsibility for loss, theft or damage will be determined under applicable law. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Merchandise

Availability, product options, pickup or delivery arrangements, and return conditions are those disclosed at purchase.

Customers should promptly report incorrect, damaged or defective merchandise. Return restrictions do not eliminate applicable statutory rights or express warranties.

14. Commercial Liability Limitations

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TDW WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL BUSINESS LOSSES ARISING SOLELY FROM A BREACH OF A BOOKING OR EVENT CONTRACT, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES OR REPUTATIONAL LOSS.

THIS LIMITATION DOES NOT APPLY TO PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, FRAUD, GROSS NEGLIGENCE, INTENTIONAL MISCONDUCT, OR RIGHTS AND REMEDIES THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE LIMITED.

15. Privacy and Photographs

Customer information is handled under our Privacy Policy.

Acceptance of these terms does not independently constitute consent to marketing texts or permission to use a guest’s likeness in advertising. Promotional permissions will be obtained separately where required.

Guests must respect others’ privacy when photographing or recording at the venue. Commercial filming requires prior approval.

16. Website Use and Intellectual Property

TDW’s protected branding, text and graphics may not be used commercially without authorization or another lawful basis.

Unauthorized access, fraudulent submissions, interference with website operations and misuse of booking systems are prohibited.

Third-party services are subject to their own terms.

17. Operational Interruptions

Weather, utility outages, equipment failures, government restrictions and other events may interrupt services.

TDW will communicate material changes as reasonably practicable. For services not provided, customers will be offered an appropriate alternative or refund, subject to applicable law.

18. Disputes and Governing Law

Please contact Service@tdwsmashzone.com so we can attempt to resolve a concern. Doing so is not a prerequisite to exercising legal rights or meeting filing deadlines.

Texas law governs these terms, subject to applicable federal law and mandatory protections.

To the extent legally permitted, disputes will be brought in a state court in Harris County, Texas, or a federal court serving Harris County that has jurisdiction.

Nothing in these terms waives nonwaivable consumer rights.

19. General Provisions

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

Failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce it later.

These terms, together with the conditions accepted for the purchase, constitute the agreement concerning that transaction.

Updates apply prospectively. The version accepted for an existing purchase continues to govern unless a lawful change is separately agreed.
